Do Pyaza is a Bangladeshi style dish prepared with large quantities of onions, usually with shrimp or lobster. This recipe features marinated lobsters cooked in a spicy onion and garlic sauce, ideal to serve with rice or pulao.
Marinate the lobsters with turmeric, salt, and red chili powder.
Fry the lobsters in oil until the shells turn red, then remove them immediately.
In the same oil, add sliced onions and onion paste, fry until golden brown, then add garlic and ginger paste and cook until the rawness goes away.
Add cumin powder, red chili, turmeric, salt, cashew or almond paste, and tomato ketchup. Cover and cook until the oil separates.
Add the fried lobsters and cook for another 10 minutes, first at medium heat, then lower the heat, cover, and cook for another 5 minutes.
 Serve with rice or pulao.
