Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

1: Start by browning the butter over low to medium heat until it turns golden brown with brown bits forming.

2: Remove from heat and add both brown sugar and white sugar. Optionally, add instant coffee and milk.

3: Add 1 egg and 1 egg yolk, followed by vanilla essence, and whisk until well combined.

4: Add the flour, salt, and baking soda, and mix until it forms a dough.

5: Add the chocolate chips and mix until just combined, avoiding overmixing.

6: Scoop out round balls of dough and top with a few more chocolate chips.

7: Cover with foil or plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

8: Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes, keeping in mind that the cookies will be very soft when done.
