A flavorful Bhuna Meat Curry made with beef or mutton, seasoned with a blend of powdered and whole spices, garlic, and ginger. It's a delicious dish that can be enjoyed with rice or paratha.
In a pan, add whole spices and fry over low to medium heat for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Avoid overheating to prevent burning.
Add onions and salt, cooking until they turn translucent and light golden brown.
Add ginger and garlic paste, frying for 2-3 minutes until the raw smell disappears.
Stir in powdered spices and 2/3 cup of water (or as needed) to cook the spices and prevent burning. Cook until the oil separates.
Add meat and cook over medium to high heat for 10-12 minutes. Meanwhile, boil water on the side.
Add boiled water as needed to tenderize the meat, cooking until the oil rises to the top. The masala and meat should be well-cooked.
If not tender, add more water, cover, and cook on high heat until done.
Garnish with green chilies and enjoy with rice or paratha.
